As of this writing, 1999, Wayne is still at the helm of the Clarksville General baseball team. This year will be his 36^th year as the head coach.

Some of his accomplishments to date are 20 Mid-Southern Conference Championships, 12 New Albany Invitational Tourney Titles, 10 IHSAA sectionals, 5 regionals and 1 semi-state title; one state finals appearance.
