Howard Kellman 2018 will mark the 43rd season as the Voice of the Indianapolis Indians the AAA affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Longtime radio and TV voice who has dedicated his career to the art of baseball broadcasting. June 30, 2017 Howard broadcast his 6,000 th game for the Indians. Has also called many IHSAA football and basketball games since 1990. The Triple A All-Star games and the Triple A World Series are a part of his broadcast career. Also behind the mic at various times for the White Sox, Cleveland Cavaliers, and New York Mets. Honored in 2002 as Indiana’s Sportscaster of the Year, 2009 an inductee to the Indiana Sports Writers & Sportscaster Association Hall of Fame, and 2015 inducted into the Indiana Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame. In addition to being ‘the voice of the Tribe” he manages his own speaking service and is the author of “61 Humorous & Inspiring Lessons I learned from Baseball”.
